Our story began with family, food and the warmth of home.
The Martini family has always believed in the magic of gathering. As one of ten siblings growing up in a spirited Italian home on the west side of Chicago, the holidays weren’t just celebrated, they were felt. The kitchen glowed late into the night, filled with homemade pasta, holiday music, and stories passed between generations.
Their father ran a neighborhood store where customers were treated like guests. Their mother lit up every room she entered, often quite literally, with the warmth of her hospitality and the glow of lights carefully strung for every season.
In the Martini household, light was never just decoration. It was emotion. It was the signal that something meaningful was happening. It meant family was gathering.

The name is a tribute to the next generation, inspired by the family’s traditions, their Italian heritage in Bagni di Lucca, and yes, even their beloved matriarch Noelle, whose name fittingly means Christmas.
Via Luci is a philosophy: that the right light can turn any evening into a memory. That ambiance can deepen connection. That beauty should live in both what we celebrate and how we celebrate it.
